STOP Illegal Sale of GUNS!

In class Mr Lin said that the copy of this poster has too many statements, I am saying stop illegal sale of guns also stop senseless killings and than saying stop illegal sale of guns again which is unnecessary. Actually I was trying to create a flow. Following the shape of the gun, I wanted the audience to first take notice of my slogan which is to stop illegal sale of guns. Next following the shape they will see that many innocent people are killed with illegal guns therefore stop illegal gun sales which will stop senseless killings and thus save lives. Finally following the shape of the gun downwards in white which signifys purity and compassion it says save lives a bit like those blood donation posters. But I guess this poster has too many stands. So I made a change to the copy explaning what illegal gun sales lead to..

I have changed the copy such that it explains how illegal gun sales affect us. Hope it does not send different messages anymore. The purpose of the gun is actually to direct the audience's attention from the top where the gun is pointed and following the shape of the gun leading downwards towards the copy and finally down to the save lives. Please do comment such that I can improve on the copy. Thanks.
