The storyline is about this loving ah gong and ah ma strolling in the park. Then the Ah gong sees a beautiful lady. The Ah ma thought the Ah gong was leering at the pretty lady but actually it was the watch that caught his eye. He started following the lady despite the ah ma calling out to him. He followed her into a shopping centre. The ah ma was so furious that when she saw a shop selling knives she went in to buy one. After that she saw the ah gong talking to the pretty lady in the distance. She can't hear what they are talking about but the ah gong seems to be enjoying himself. Then the lady pointed to a watch shop to ah gong. Ah gong went in and came out, ah ma was so furious that she raised her chopper but ah gong presented her with a gift wrapped box. Ah ma was confused but it turned out that ah gong thought the watch the lady was wearing was very beautiful and he wanted to buy it for ah ma for valentine's day. Ah gong and ah ma live lovingly together forever and ever.
For this assignment i will not take photos but will draw it out and present it in a light comedic way trying to bring across a simple happy relationship between two elderlies whom have been couples for so long but still find joy in each others' company and the ah gong still longs to make his wife happy.
The other photos should fill in the middle parts like the ah ma calling out to ah gong but ah gong ignoring her thats why she was so furious and ah gong asking the lady where she bought the watch as well as the ah ma picturing in her mind how she is going to "fix" ah gong and ah gong picturing in his mind how nice the watch will look on ah ma and how happy she will be etc as well as how ah ma has always wanted a watch...
For the music i will probably find something light and cheery and at the ah ma being angryand buying knives part it will be fast and angry but at the same time funny music---> if i can find it at all.
Overall it should make people laugh.

Very entertaining and sweet... nice & cute drawing... maybe adding some colors to the drawing would be even much better...
This story is very simple and sweet.
Nothing much that I can comment about. I just thought that maybe you can play up on the jealousy of the grandma by showing scenes of how she pinch her husband for looking at the girl. Just to build up to the climax when she heads for a chopper. =)
This may also mislead the viewers to think that the grandpa is simply to chee ko peh to ignore his wife's threats.

First of all, it is very hard to read on your blog. The yellow words really blinded me. Haha.
Okay back to the point. You can add in a more localised flavor, like the one you find in straits times comic session. I forgot the name. Add in hints of how singaporeans look at this things and it might add in an interesting element and dimension to your story.

I think you should include some scene when the ah ma is looking at some watches as if she really wanted to buy it, but then walked away, and the ah gong saw that, he knew she would want a new watch. It will explain why the ah gong buy a watch, but not anything else.
haha! Your plot is so funny. Simple, yet dramatic. Are you going to include real photos in this production? I think the final product would be interesting. I have not seen old woman flare up because of jealousy. =)

A sweet story. I think the Ah Gong follows the girl because of the watch right? The reason is not clear through the sketch and if I don't look at it closely I can't find the link to buying the watch and the girl at the later part of the story. Maybe can try making the reason clearer. Look forward to your production :)
I really like this story. Actually what popped into my mind is showing the ah gong looking at a couple of other girls (for valentines day gifts like the watch...maybe dress or hats or bags or something.) which makes the granny more and more mad then because he finally decides on the watch and goes to talk to this girl that's why she went to buy the knife. In other words, since it's a comical story, make it more dramatic and hilarious .
I like how you mislead your viewers in the beginning and provide a pleasant twist in the end. Also, I thought grandpa’s height plays a role since I think his eye-level is near the lady’s waist so it can implies she’s eyeing the lady’s figure but is also reasonable to suggest that he’s actually looking at the watch. Though I was wondering how come the grandpa looks intolerable to the grandma (his facial expression) at the first frame. It’ll be sweet if they are more loving =)

I think the part where the ah gong keeps following the young lady might mislead viewers.
Would it be better if he actually asks the young girl where she got her watch from, right at the beginning? (But then don't make it so obvious of course). Then he follows her to the shop.
In this case the audience might think that the ah gong has got something up his sleeve but yet not very sure, rather than see the ah gong lusting over a young lady.
I don't know how to reply to individual comments but thanks for all your encouragements. Yes it will be drawings and they will be colored I will insert more drawings to show ah ma being more jealous as well as a flashback to show ah ma longing for a watch. Thanks all..
